Located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood, CLP – Main offers a variety of free entertainment, training sessions and literature-based programs for all members of the family. A green oasis in the middle of Pittsburgh’s vibrant Oakland neighborhood, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens has provided a world-class garden experience to its visitors since 1893. Explore the beauty and wonders of nature at Phipps, encompassing 15 acres including a 14-room glasshouse and 23 distinct gardens.

Green Space


Oakland is home to one of Pittsburgh’s largest parks. Donated to the City in 1889, Schenley Park now encompasses 456 acres of trails, forests, venues, and attractions sprawling through Oakland and Squirrell Hill. Operated by the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Schenley Park has something to offer to everyone.
